Amber is a multimedia storage and streaming device powered by a personal hybrid cloud – making it the easiest way to access and protect your data. Amber is “The world’s first Personal Hybrid Cloud Storage”.
Amber gives users complete ownership and control over their most valuable digital data, offering the convenience of the cloud in the privacy of their own homes.
Data is stored locally for privacy and protected by a personal hybrid cloud for backup, sharing and remote access.
With Amber, there is never a question of who is in possession of your data or who owns it. Amber makes it simple to secure your data without having to compromise your security to third-party public clouds.
Amber is more powerful than a NAS – it’s a complete data storage platform powered by our Personal Hybrid Cloud. Other solutions rely on public third-party clouds, so you never really know who has control of your data. When you store your digital life in Amber – your data is yours and yours alone.
Amber offers storage encryption at rest and secure data transfer (TLS/SSL). Primary data and access control reside on Amber with secondary protection provided in the LatticeNest cloud.
